- I am a farm girl, born and raised! I don't live on the farm anymore, but it is still very much a part of me. I love exploring the history in old buildings and I am currently renovating my house that was built in 1873. I am married and have 4 kids...1 stepdaughter, 2 from a previous marriage and one "joint venture" born in April 2007! I am an Architectural Drafter and Interior Designer with an Architectural Firm in Ames, IA.
